Traveling the Silk Road to India, the countries the filmmakers traverse on their journey are just as diverse as their six protagonists’ social backgrounds. All protagonists are struggling for their place in society. They pursue their dreams, so ultimately they can avoid one thing: to betray themselves. Even if that means pain, sacrifice and rejection: The only thing that remains is ‚Satya‘, turning to your true self, the honourable way.

This film is a journey about life and death, about identity and not least about the power of hope and change. As Mustafa says: „Anything can enter your life, anything can leave your life. We live what we choose. I decided to smile.“
